Just recently, a coworker told me about a movie called "The Cove." The description given seemed unbelievable. I thought maybe he was exaggerating. He said it was a movie about the slaughtering of dolphins in Japan. He said dolphin trainers from Sea World and other similar places would gather in this cove in Japan and pick and choose the dolphins they wanted for their exhibits. Then what really got my attention was that he said all the rest were killed. I wondered immediately, why couldn't the ones not chosen just be released back into the ocean? Word spread about this movie around work and I had to find out what this was all about. So tonight, instead of doing my online summer school class, I watched "The Cove" online. The movie left me speechless and with tears in my eyes. Everything my coworker had said was true. The slaughtering of the dolphins, it happens. What these fishermen are doing is horrific. The majority of the movie is just talk and you aren't moved by it. But when they show real footage of the slaughtering, and the water turning bright red with blood in a matter of seconds, you are moved to tears. Words can't even describe the actions in this movie. And not only are dolphins dying but you discover that the dolphins are being sold for meat. And this meat is labeled as whale meat and this "whale" meat is being eaten by thousands of people. Dolphins are high in mercury and since people are unknowingly eating dolphin meat, they are unknowingly getting mercury poisoning. In actuality, these fishermen are killing humans as well as dolphins. I don't even consider those men to be fishermen; they are murders. This HAS to be stopped. The killing of dolphins, the mislabeling, the mercury poisoning, the killing of humans. It all has to be stopped. Make this known. Do your part and help save lives.

Catching Up
7.1.2013
It is officially July of 2013. That's crazay! Surprisingly, nothing all that major has occurred in my life since my last post. I've just been busy with dance, school, work, flute, and stuff. Sadly no room in there for my 5 friends. I finally got my license a few months ago because Mother finally let me. No car as of right now but the search has been on for about a month. Oh, and something kinda minor (sarcasm), I AM 17 BITCHES! Really though, 17 isn't anything exciting. I can buy a R-rated movie ticket. Yippee. Literally, that's it. And then something about the number of passengers in the car or something but it's not like I have a car sooo yeah. I cannot believe that in less than 2 months I'll be starting my senior year in high school. Like holy shizballs. I hope senior year goes by as fast as people say. I'm so looking forward to college. I just want to go do what I feel I'm meant to do in life already! For those of you that didn't read my info, I am a future DPT, Doctor of Physical Therapy. In 7 years I will (hopefully) have graduated from Slippery Rock University. I went on a college visit there a few months ago and I fell in love. The only hard part about this college process will be trying to find other colleges to apply to. I'm so set on SRU, nothing else compares. Reading all this may make it seem like I'm rushing my youth but I feel like I've taken what youth has to offer and now I'm just ready for adulthood. Bring it on life! One more thing before I go, I AM GOING TO SEE BRUNO MARS IN CONCERT JULY 10TH!!! I could not be more excited!!! His voice is perfection. His looks are perfection. He is perfection. I am counting down the days and already figuring out what to wear. I'm sure I'll blog about it sometime after but right now I should go because it's almost 2:30 in the morning. Oh and by the way, I'm typing this on my very own laptop. #Swag #PeaceOut

New Year

Well hey there everyone. Happy 2013!!! It's definitely been a while since I lasted posted. I've had a lot going on and have only found time to breath just recently. I know it's cheesy but it's a new year and I'm a new me. I know what I wanna do with my life and I'm making it happen. I'm definitely not the same person I was last year. I have a new perspective on life. Speaking of life, it's been flying by. On Thursday, my brother will be 21. In June, I'll be done with my junior year and will turn 17. Then in the fall, my brother will start his senior year of college and I'll be starting my senior year of high school. And then in 18 months, I'll be pursuing my dream of attending Slippery Rock University. I can't wait for my life to reach that point, but at the same time, I don't want to grow up yet. Until next time people of the Internet.

#Unsure
I'm so fucking busy!!! WTF?! I hardly have time to breath!!! #DyingOfExhaustion August for me consists of: work, marching band, color guard, in-cars, flute, dance, summer reading, making routines, band camp, Corn Festival (yeah that's right, CORN #Country), grad parties, hanging with my best friend Danielle, and one of my best guy friends. Did you see breathing in there? I didn't. The whole unsure thing is taking up time too. I so want a boyfriend and I have someone who's very interested but I'm not as interested. And, of course, I don't have time. But being lonely so totally sucks. Like seriously, it's been almost 2 years and that's not ok at all. I would just feel like I'm neglecting someone if I were to date right now. #DecisionsSuck And then who I really want I won't be able to have cuz I'm lame and I suck. Oh well. It's almost too late to do anything about it now. You know what I really wanna do? I just wanna lay on the beach at night staring at the stars, listening to the waves, with a guy I love. That's what I really want. But is that gonna happen? Probably not. And that just sucks. Yeah I'm done ranting now...

Not much to say
The past 10 days have been great! My parents were on a vacation in Hawaii and it was just me and my brother in the house. It was a lot of fun. I saw Star Wars for the first time ever over the weekend, and it was pretty good. It was an all day movie marathon. Saw 1 and 2, left for my best friend's birthday dinner so I missed 3, and then returned for 4, 5, and 6. Next movie marathon my work friends and I will have? I vote Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. I have become a major dork lately. I'm liking Star Wars, wanting to see The Amazing Spiderman and The Dark Knight Rises, getting excited for sequels to Avengers' movies, and wanting t-shirts for all this stuff. This is bad. But I suppose there's no escaping this. I need me a man. A hot, nerd sounds nice to me. I found 2 options so far. I hope this ends well. I made a major accomplishment and reached my 500th tweet. So you should follow me. I'm watching The Nanny on Nick @ Nite, but it's 5:30 in the morning. Doesn't make sense to me. Why am I awake at 5:30 in the morning? Because there's no point to 4 hours of sleep (going to bed at 2 and waking up at 6 to pick my parents up from the airport). So I think that's about it. I'm going to go take some Excedrin and drink a Diet Pepsi.

A lot of things
Happy July. Yippee. Well let's see, in the time between the last post and now, a lot's gone down...I suppose. I stopped liking that other guy. I like having him as a close guy friend much more :) Work's been great and fun as usual. Ya know, makin' some money. I saw Katy Perry 3D with my close guy friend. We both thought it was a great movie except for the creepy Katy Perry cat mascot, Kitty Purry. Myself and everyone I work with is 99.9% sure this one guy likes me, and I think I might be liking him too. I'm still undecided though. I'm a very indecisive person. My goldfish, Gilligan, is awesomer than ever. Moved up to a bigger tank because he won't stop growing. That might become an issue. Next step, the bath tub as a fish tank for him. My lovely parents are on a 10 day trip to Hawaii for their 25th anniversary leaving me and my brother with the house to ourselves. Can you say party? My best friend's birthday is this weekend, Friday the 13th to be exact. Happy birthday Danielle!!! I've been listening too a lot of music lately. The guy that we think likes me told me about the song I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie. That my friends, is one awesome song. Another thing I've been listening to constantly is a cover of Iris by Jack Tinner (initially by the Goo Goo Dolls). I think it's the best cover of a song I've ever heard by far. Lastly, I've been tweeting a lot. I've become such a Twitter addict. #TeamProbablyWontFollowBack Well I guess that's it for now. Can't wait for this weekend :)

6.12.2012 <--- Yeah that's today
It's finally summer!!!! It's awesome going to bed at 3 am and knowing that I don't have to go to school. It's even better knowing I can't stay up all night because I have work :) I work with the greatest people ever like legit, well most of them are great...some, they just suck, not kidding. We have so much fun haha even when we're bored, we find stuff to do, like draw pictures, like this one :D (P.S. I didn't draw this, just sayin') Well since I woke up at 11:30, I've been laying around in my pajamas til now (which is 3:15) and I have to be at work in an hour, I should probably eat, take a shower, and stop blogging. I can't wait til my birthday! I'm so excited!!! 16 days til my birthday and 12 more days of school. This is the last full week of school! And then I'll have all summer to work! I love work :) Especially the people. We have so much fun in our tuxedo shirts haha. I am determined to make this the best summer ever. It'll definitely be the busiest with dance, dance team, color guard/marching band, work, flute, driving, dance camp, and band camp. Hopefully there will be plenty of time to spend with my awesome brother and epic best friend! Oh and then I finally get to dye my hair again! I love dance but it sadly makes me incapable of being able to dye my hair :( June 25=dying my hair. I am extremely bored right now and I dislike it. Ewwww I have to be in the Memorial Day parade on Monday :( and that means practice after school on Friday. Not fun. But hopefully I can go to Cedar Point this weekend. Sadly I don't have work this weekend :( I could cry! I think I'm the only person that actually loves their job. Well I have to go, so adios people!

So it's been a pretty awesome week starting last Friday. My brother came home, we saw The Avengers, had a good school week. Didn't do much. Got an A on a history test, SCORE! 18 days left of school...I think. Can't wait for the school year to be over! 25 days til my birthday :D So excited!!! Hmmm what else. Oh I became a Skype addict :P And I officially declare my self 100% dork. Before I was just hmm maybe 80% but now it's complete dorkness. I'm proud to be a dork, geek, nerd, whatever you want to call it, though. Embrace your dorkiness! Soooo yeah I think that's it. I had more to say but I forgot it.
